How it works
A tiny, lightning-quick red laser dot flickers across the screen — darting, stopping and turning just like the real laser pointer that drives cats crazy. Your mission is simple: tap it while it moves. 60 seconds on the clock, one point per hit, and every hit bursts into a neon shockwave. This is the smallest hitbox on CatPawCity — every tap on it is a fine paw indeed.
3 secrets of the hit rate
- Predict, don't chase: after each sharp turn the dot pauses for a breath. Read its direction and park your finger at the next spot — let the dot run into you.
- Use the pad of your finger: the touch hitbox is about 15px wide. A fingertip pad covers more area than the nail tip — and the same goes for paw beans: just slap it.
- TV mode is the true form: on a TV the dot grows bigger without slowing down. Combine it with your cat's real laser-pointer reflexes and the pounce success rate skyrockets.
Who is it for
Laser mode is the hard mode of the three catch games: smallest target, fastest movement, with sudden stops and direction changes. It's built for young, energetic cats and veteran hunters who already maxed out the mouse leaderboard. And if your cat keeps getting teased by a real laser pointer it can never catch — here, it finally gets to pin that red dot under its paw.
